F.A.Q.

Q: Didn’t you guys used to be The Oxbow Boys?
A: Used to be. We were getting complaints of people accidentally buying some other band’s albums. Don’t get me wrong, our fans are pretty smart, but to avoid confusion, we changed our name.

Q: Who is the Depot Creek Stringband?
A: I know, just when you thought you knew who we are. The Stringband is the same crew, but zero electric instruments are allowed. Now it’s not just an unplugged version either, it’s a different feel for sure.

Q: Are you available to play ________?
A: Yup. We’ve played most kinds of things. Bars, festivals, coffee shops, weddings, house parties, camp fires, fundraisers. Heck, some of us have even played while posing as models for art students! (Non-nude)

Q: Do you guys wreck stuff?
A: We will definitely break things (ie. guitars, hotel rooms, cardboard Jeff Gordon stand-ups, etc.), but there is an extra charge for it. Provide us an itemized list of what you want to see smashed, and we’ll get you a quote.

Q: Where can I buy your album?
A: Nowhere. There isn’t one. No stickers, no t-shirts, there have been some close calls, and a lot of recordings, but no merchandise yet.

Q: Can I be your friend on MySpace?
A: What’s that? Seriously. No kidding. Surprised we even exist?
